Frequently Asked Questions

TCM is an ancient system of health & wellness that uses various methods, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary therapies & exercises, such as Tai Chi & Qigong, to treat & prevent health issues.

Acupuncture involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to balance the flow of energy or Qi, improving health & balance & alleviating pain.

Acupuncture is used to treat a wide range of conditions, from acute & chronic pain, stress, anxiety & migraines to digestive issues, skin issues, reproductive issues & so many more.

This specialized acupuncture technique aims to improve skin health & appearance, targeting signs of aging by stimulating collagen production & enhancing fascial circulation.

Most people experience minimal discomfort during acupuncture; some describe a mild sensation when the needles are inserted, but it is generally not considered painful.

Sessions typically last between 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment plan.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing & ensure you’ve eaten a light meal before your session to prevent discomfort.

Acupuncture is entirely safe when performed by a qualified practitioner, with few side effects. Some may experience slight bruising or soreness at needle sites.

The number of sessions varies based on individual health needs & goals, which will be determined during your initial consultation.

Yes, TCM and acupuncture can complement other medical treatments, but it’s important to consult with all your healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
